Drag and drop is not working

Apr 3, 2013 at 10:22 PM
The module looks great but the drag and drop functionality is simply not working. When the page for new content item loads it shows a JavaScript error - http://screencast.com/t/lYu0OqgUY9zK, then when I try to drop some image in the area nothing happens (the upload progress is shown for a part of a second, but that's all).
I am using Orchard 1.6 and the last version of the module. I tried with both IE9 and Firefox 19

Yes, ie9 does not support FileList, I will fix this.
But FireFox 19 supports FileList, and as I see it works.

I managed to fix the JavaScript error by converting "FileList" to "window.FileList", but drag and drop is still not working. May be it depends on some kind of server configuration?

Could you provide extra information for problem with Firefox.
What is FF version number? Are there some js errors? Screenshots and other stuff can be very helpful.
I checked current version on FF 19 and 20 and it works.

I made a video with 3 browsers: http://screencast.com/t/WnXP751hdoz
Internet Explorer - 9.0
Firefox - 20.0.1 (upgraded)
Opera - 12.14
Windows 7 64bit

There are no JavaScript errors after my fix.

I was also having this problem.

I fixed it changing the VirtualPath of the orchard site to "/".

I was using the "/OrchardLocal/" VirtualPath.

I created an issue for this: https://imagepowertools.codeplex.com/workitem/15

Is it for 2.2.1 module version?

I installed 2.2.1 and now I am able to upload images in Firefox which it enough for me, but in IE the drop area stopped responding at all.

It is ok for IE9, because IE9 does not support HTML5 file upload (in IE10 all works). So I just disabled drag and drop feature for IE9.
